Safety & Security

In accordance with CBSE guidelines, individual committees have been constituted to look into the safety and security of the students. Students, parents and teachers can mail their complaints, if any, to the complaints@dpsmathuraroad.org. Once registered the complaint will be effectively dealt with by all members of the respective committees. Strict action will be taken against the following offences:

Bullying is strictly prohibited inside the school premises and no act will go unnoticed or unpunished. It can be directly from the bully to the victim (e.g., through physical intimidation or attacks, verbal abuse, unwanted attention and advances, damaging property), or it can be indirect (e.g., through spreading malicious rumours). It can also include cyber-bullying (e.g., sending unpleasant SMS messages, photographs or emails, to the victim or to others). Guidelines for prevention of Bullying and Ragging in Schools as stated in circular No. Acad.-17/ 2015 dated 9 March 2015 have been strictly implemented. The committee will ensure a 100% Tobacco-free school that prohibits the use of tobacco products by anyone, including students, staff and visitors in the school premises or at school events at all times. It has been constituted for a mass campaign against the smoking menace in the school. All complaints can be filed at antitobacco@dpsmathuraroad.org

In an effort to deal with child sexual abuse cases the Government has brought in a special law 'The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act' (POCSO Act) 2012 effective from 14 November 2012 onwards. All complaints can be filed at shc@dpsmathuraroad.org
