The following measures will be adopted by the school authorities, based on observation and an assessment of the gravity of the misconduct, to enforce discipline. These measures apply to offences pertaining to the aforementioned aspects as well as other acts of indiscipline.
- Counselling
- Oral and/or written warning to the student and parents
- Issue of external memos / show-cause notices
- Suspension from attending classes/school for a specified period
- Withdrawal of break / PT periods
- Community service / social service
- Withholding or cancellation of results
- Withdrawal of bus facilities for misbehaviour in the school bus. In such cases, parents will be responsible for dropping and picking up their wards
- Any loss to school property due to wilful damage shall be made good through replacement of school property and/or imposition of a fine (the amount will be assessed by the school), along with strict disciplinary action
- Detention during breaks for completion of neglected classwork or homework
- Rustication or expulsion as per rules, by referring the case to the respective committees
- Roll numbers / admit cards of students who do not follow school rules or behave in an undisciplined manner may be withheld based on the Code of Conduct issued by CBSE
- In case a student is found using unfair means during a test or examination, the paper will be cancelled and no re-test will be offered
Note: Violation of any other rule, for which punishment is not prescribed herein, will be dealt with at the discretion of the school authorities after considering the gravity of the misconduct and the past behaviour of the student. The punishment imposed shall be final.
