Shreshtha Tiwari (VIII A), Mohammad Haafi (VIII B) and Jaagriv Gupta (VIII F), the First Winner Team of the AI Hackathon, along with AI In-charge, Ms. Monika Sethi, were invited to the VOLT (Vocational Occupational Learning & Training) Industry Engagement Programme, organised by the Power Sector Skill Council (PSSC), where they were felicitated for their outstanding achievement.

The winning team received a trophy, merit certificate and cash prize of Rs. 5000/- each, while AI In-charge, Ms. Monika Sethi received a trophy, a memento and a planter.

Their Bharat EV Charging App, powered by AI, drew appreciation from industry representatives present, offering the team invaluable exposure.

Rangmancham 2026–27 | Proud Moment For Dps Mathura Road

Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, bagged the Overall Championship at the Inter-DPS Theatre Festival 2026–27 – ‘Rangmancham’, organised under the aegis of The Delhi Public School Society and hosted by DPS Gandhinagar, Gujarat, on 29 and 30 August 2026.

DPS Mathura Road Secures First Position at Rangmanch 2026

DPS Mathura Road is proud to announce the outstanding achievement of its Dramatics Club at Rangmanch 2026 – National Inter-DPS Society Dramatics Competition, held at DPS Gandhinagar, Gujarat, on 28 August 2026.

Having successfully qualified for the Final Round, the school team presented a compelling Nukkad Natak, securing the First Position among 20 shortlisted DPS schools from across the country. The performance was lauded for its impactful presentation, creativity, coordination and confident execution.

Further adding to the school’s accolades, Avani Mishra (Class XII A) secured the Third Position in the Solo Monologue Competition, demonstrating remarkable confidence, expression and theatrical finesse.

When curiosity meets code, innovation writes its own future

The AI Lab at Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, resonated with ingenuity as young innovators translated code into creation at AI Hackathon 2026, held on 7th August 2026 under the aegis of the Power Sector Skills Council (PSSC) and the distinguished guidance of Principal, Dr. Ram Singh.

Sixty-seven students from Classes VI–XII, all graduates of the Level-1 AI Foundation Course, exhibited remarkable ingenuity and technical acumen. The Jury adjudged three standout projects:

First Prize — Bharat EV Application: Shrestha Tiwari (VIII A), Mohammad Hafi (VIII B), Jaagriv Gupta (VIII F) — ₹17,000 and Trophy

Second Prize — Lilla AI Website: Garima Bhargava (X F) — ₹12,750 and Trophy

Third Prize — CampusGo Assistant: Avani Malhotra (XII F), Navya Suri (X B) — ₹8,500 and Trophy

The victorious team also conceived DPSAI.org, a student-conceptualised platform on the school's AI initiatives, and has earned an invitation to PSSC's "VOLT (Edition-1)" on 21st August 2026.

Prizes were conferred by Dr. V.K. Singh, CEO of PSSC, at the assembly on 18th August 2026, where Ms. Monika Sethi, AI Incharge, was felicitated with an Appreciation Letter for her steadfast mentorship.

The Girls Chess Team of DPS Mathura Road brought laurels to the school by winning four medals — two Silver and two Bronze — at the All India IPSC Girls Chess Tournament 2026–27, held at The Emerald Heights International School, Indore, from 18–20 August 2026.

Winner at International Women’s Day Quiz-Women Driving Viksit Bharat!

Under the visionary leadership of Principal Dr. Ram Singh, our students partcipated in International Women‘s Day Quiz.

Vivaan Moda, a student of class IX A was selected as winner in International Women’s Day Quiz-Women Driving Viksit Bharat conducted on MyGov from 4 March to 18 March 26. He was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 2000/-.

DPS Mathura Road carved a niche of excellence at the National Inter-DPS Dance Festival “Nrityanjali”, hosted by DPS Vasant Kunj on 22nd November 2025, with the participation of 97 schools from across the country. Rising gracefully amidst fierce competition, the school secured the 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀-𝗨𝗽 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, adding another glorious feather to its cap.

The team was honoured by the 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐏𝐒 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲, 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐚 𝐁𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐡. 𝐁.𝐊. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝𝐢, marking the moment with prestige and pride. Enchanting the audience with a spiritually profound performance on the theme “Mythological Characters,” the students brought alive the divine presence of Daru-Brahma—Lord Jagannath, weaving devotion, rhythm, and expressive storytelling into a mesmerizing spectacle.

The 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐬 of this remarkable achievement were Subhashmita Nayak of XII J, Vivian Rajahamsan of XI G, Siya Grover of XI K, Devangana Singh of XI D, Harishma R. of XI B, and Mahira Mehadiratta of X C, whose dedication, grace, and tireless practice transformed the stage into a canvas of devotion and brilliance. Alpana Dubey has brought home two bronze medals at the 6th Asian Yogasana Championship held in the Emirate of Fujairah, UAE.

Representing Team India, Alpana showcased her talent and composure on an international stage, winning medals in both the Traditional Yoga and Artistic Yoga categories. She competed against 160 elite athletes from 16 countries, including China, Syria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Nepal, and Iran.

The championship, held on 9th and 10th of August 2025 at the Zayed Sports Complex, was organised under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and hosted by the Asian Yogasana Sports Federation (AYSF) in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Sports. Recognised as one of Asia’s premier competitive yoga events, it offers athletes a global platform to demonstrate precision, flexibility, and grace.

A student of Delhi Public School Mathura Road, New Delhi, Alpana began her yoga journey in her early years. Over time, she has excelled at major competitions, winning gold, silver, and bronze medals across multiple categories — Traditional Yoga, Artistic Yoga, and Rhythmic Yoga — as a solo performer, in pairs, and as part of a team. Her achievements span prestigious platforms, including the Uttar Pradesh Yogasana Sports Championship in Kanpur and Lucknow; the CBSE Cluster North Zone Inter-School Yogasana Competition; and the National Level Yoga Championships in Kolkata and Mumbai.

Under the leadership of our revered principal Dr. Ram Singh, the art department of DPS mathura road received a prestigious opportunity to exhibit the Art works of the students at the Skill Gallery of CBSE Building in Dwarka, New Delhi. DPS Mathura Road is the very first school to receive such an opportunity. This activity is done by the Director of Skill Education and Training, CBSE. The entire display has been curated by the teachers of the Art Department. The artworks on display consist of different artforms like painting, sculpture, soop art, and installations. The theme is remembering our traditional Folk Art forms. The artworks are based on different Art Forms like Madhubani, Warli art, Gond Art, Kalamkari painting, Patta-Chitra, Pichwai painting, Kutch Mirror work, and Miniature paintings.

They have emerged as national winners of the UN – Robotics for Good Youth Challenge held last year at the India Mobile Congress. Now, they are ready to shine at the Global Finals in Geneva, Switzerland, hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) – a United Nations agency.

DPS International Hosts Inter DPS Debate Festival 2025

DPS International, Saket, organised Inter DPS English Debate Festival 2025- Point Counterpoint on Friday, 2nd May 2025 where a total of 87 Delhi Public Schools participated in the preliminary rounds. 24 schools advanced to the final two rounds, which were held on the concluding day. The first round of the finals featured a contemporary debate, following which the top 10 schools namely, DPS MR, DPS Whitefield, Bengaluru, DPS International, Saket, DPS Vasant Kunj, DPS Gurugram, Sec-45, DPS Megacity, Kolkata, DPS Faridabad, DPS Bulandshahr, DPS Ranchi, DPS Agra, were shortlisted for the On-the-Spot round. In the final round, participants were given 30 minutes to prepare on the topic:

“AI IS THE NEW TEACHER.”

Pranaya Batra (X E) and Aashi Mittal (XII D) represented DPS MR with remarkable poise and intellect. Their performance earned special mentions from both the judges Mr. Promod Rawal and Ms. Sudipta Gosh and the chief guest Ms. Vrinda Swaroop before the dignitaries Mr. Ravi Veera Gupta – Chairman, Mrs. Dolly Chanana and Ms. Shavani Rao – Principal.Aashi Mittal was awarded the prestigious title of BEST SPEAKER – First Runner-Up for her exceptional articulation and persuasive skills.

DPS Mathura Road Honours German Language Achievers

Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, hosted a Felicitation Ceremony to honour the meritorious students of Classes VI, VII, VIII and IX for their outstanding performance in the German language. The event was a commendation of the diligence, commitment, and linguistic flair of young learners who have excelled in mastering one of the world's most widely spoken foreign languages.

DPS Mathura Road's ATL Team Wins UN-Robotics for Good Youth Challenge, to Represent India Globally in Geneva 2025

ATL team of DPS Mathura Road won the UN- Robotics for Good Youth Challenge in India Mobile Congress at Bharat Mandapam on 17.10.2024.

Pragyan Tawakley and Prakhyat Pratik of class 10 emerged as the Winners in the Senior category in this competition.

Vivaan Moda Shines in International and National Cube Championships

Vivaan Moda, Class VII-E has won 4^th rank in International Cube Championship which was conducted last month across 20 countries. More than 500 students participated in it across all ages from 8 years to 18 years.

He further topped it by winning 2^nd rank in recently conducted National Cube Championship as well. He was the national rank holder in similar championship last year as well.

Gold Medal Victory for Amaira Uppal at Delhi State Badminton Championships

Yet another proud moment for DPS Mathura Road. Amaira Uppal, of Class III achieved a significant milestone. She has won the Gold Medal at the Delhi State-level Badminton Championships in the Girls Singles 'Under 9' category, held on August 14, 2024, in loving memory of Judy Hashman-England. Despite being an unseeded player, Amaira showcased exceptional skill and determination, defeating the 1st seed player and emerging victorious in the Delhi State Badminton Championships.

The award ceremony was a momentous occasion, graced by esteemed figures in the world of badminton, including Ms. Damayanti V. Tambay, Shri Shirish Nadkarni, Shri Dinesh Khanna, and Dr. Ameeta Singh, who presented the Gold Medal to Amaira Uppal.

Applause for our budding new artist "Tuishaa Bahl Class 4E DPS Mathura Road". Acting is a form of art that brings stories to life, emotions to the surface, and audiences into new worlds.

Tushia’s powerful acting has left us truly amazed as to how beautifully she has brought her given character to life with utmost compassion.

Tuishaa Bahl of class 4-E from DPS Mathura Road is a part of India’s first Official theatrical adaptation of Sudha Murthy’s book “How I taught my Grandmother to read” in which Tuishaa, is playing the lead role of young seeya (as the young Sudha Murthy). The play, titled K se Kahani. The show has already completed 4 shows and has become the talk of the town with all major new publications like PTI, NDTV, Indian Express, Mid-Day, Daily Guardian etc. covering the show and talking highly about the performances, love and learnings that it brings to our life. The next show will be played on 13th of July at the LTG Auditorium, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi. This production is being organized by Storee Ki Boree, and it represents a significant milestone in her artistic journey in life.

Investiture Ceremony 2025–26: Empowering Young Leaders for a Future-Ready World

The Investiture Ceremony for the Junior School Prefectorial Body (Session 2025–26) was held on 16th May 2025 under the leadership of Principal Dr. Ram Singh. In his inspiring address, Dr. Singh urged students to embrace their responsibilities with confidence and integrity, and encouraged parents to nurture future-ready minds.

The school was privileged to welcome distinguished alumnus and cyber law expert Dr. Pavan Duggal as Chief Guest. He reminded students, teachers, and parents of the importance of sharpening cognitive abilities and human agility in an AI-driven world. Dr. Duggal also led the newly appointed prefects in the solemn oath-taking ceremony.

Head Boy and Head Girl expressed their gratitude and pledged to fulfill their duties with dedication. Vice Principal Ms. Soni Saxena rendered the vote of thanks, bringing the event to a graceful close.

Interschool Event Of Confluence 2025

Proud Moment for DPS Mathura Road

At the Model O Magic Science interschool event of Confluence 2025, hosted by DPSG International, Ghaziabad on 7 August 2025, our young scientists—Devansh Aggarwal (IV‑F) and Akshaj Bharadwaj (IV‑G)—lit up the competition with their ingenious model: the “Yamuna Cleaning Project" and secured the First Position.

Their project, built entirely from recycled materials, showcased an innovative approach to sustainable living. By demonstrating waste segregation and simulating water purification of the Yamuna River—paired with a bio‑waste energy generator—they offered a practical solution to one of India’s most urgent environmental challenges.

Honouring Young Achievers at DPS Mathura Road

On 15 May 2025, at DPS Mathura Road, under the remarkable leadership of Principal Dr. Ram Singh, students from Classes 2 to 5 were felicitated for their outstanding achievements in the ICSO, having earned Gold Medals of Excellence and Distinction for their hard work and academic excellence.

A significant highlight of the event was the Shalini Jha Memorial Awards, where deserving students from modest backgrounds were awarded a cash prize of Rs.5000 each in recognition of their perseverance and commendable academic performance despite challenging circumstances.

Little Champions on Wheels!

On 19th August 2024, 14 enthusiastic skaters from our Pre-Primary Wing glided their way into the Skating Competition at Manav Sthali School, Rajender Nagar, New Delhi. With their energy and determination, our tiny tots made us proud as 6 of them bagged top honours – 2 Golds, 3 Silvers, and 1 Bronze.

It was not just about winning medals, but also about embracing a new experience – stepping out, facing challenges, and competing with confidence. The day was filled with excitement, cheers, and unforgettable memories for our little achievers.

DPS Mathura Road Kids Shine at Global Storytelling Event

Two Pre-Primary students from Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, have made the school proud at the World Storytelling Competition for Kids (K–12)—a global platform celebrating young storytellers.

Ghazi Arif won the Gold Trophy and First Position, impressing judges with his expressive and imaginative narration. Viraj Shukla earned a Consolation Prize for his charming and confident storytelling.

The competition invited students to retell curated stories in their own words, encouraging creativity, expression, and confidence. Competing with children worldwide, Ghazi and Viraj stood out as true stars.

Open Roller-Skating Championship 2025

The Open Roller-Skating Championship 2025 was held on July 13, 2025, at the DDA Sports Complex in Pitampura. Out of 13 participants from pre-school and pre-primary classes, 9 young skaters won medals and a trophy, showcasing their impressive skills and bringing laurels to their school. The event promoted sportsmanship and healthy competition among the students.
