Scholar Badge Ceremony Class VI (2022-23):

To unveil and celebrate the journey of unparalleled resilience and academic achievements of the scholars, the Scholar Badge Ceremony for Class VI was organised on May 18, 2023 in the School K.G. Hall. The Guest of Honour, Mr. Sushant Changotra, Additional District & Sessions Judge, Delhi and Special Secretary, Delhi State Legal Services Authority graced the occasion with his august presence. The event also saw a congregation of dignitaries like the Principal, Ms. Reema Sharma; Vice-Principals- Mr. Naveen Kumar, Ms. Inderjeet Kaur and Ms. Monica Sahni; Headmistress-Junior School, Ms. Manisha Varma; Senior Mistress- Pre-Primary, Ms. Roopa Arora, and the Middle School Coordinator, Ms. Anita Dixit. Members of the PTA, Staff members and parents of the budding achievers were also present.

The proceedings of the day commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Following this was a soulful musical rendition by the school choir that transcended the event to the spiritual realm of serenity and celestial experience of divinity.

The Principal, Ms. Reema Sharma felicitated the Guest of Honour and began her welcome address by expressing her pride in the scholastic achievements of the meritorious students. She commended the achievers for their diligence and curricular excellence. She highlighted that the school believes in holistic development of its students and leaves no stone unturned to nurture talent. An integrated approach to education is adopted at each level. She further emphasised how by exposing students to an array of disciplines, we fine-tune both cognitive and non-cognitive skills so as to prepare them for a well-balanced life outside of school.

The cultural extravaganza interwoven with the announcement of Scholars created an ebullient ambience. The riveting dance performance added spark to the occasion. The high-spirited and vibrant musical performance spurred the spirit of optimism and the joy of victory.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Sushant Changotra, extended his greetings on the momentous occasion to the esteemed Principal, proud parents and the deserving scholars. He congratulated the parents and guardians for the achievements of the young achievers.

The ceremony saw the felicitation of 95 scholars, 15 Marker Cup awardees for subject proficiency, 3 commendation for overall proficiency and 1 all rounder award for the outstanding performance.

Zobia Ali was awarded with a gold medal for securing the first position in Class VI. Arayna Juneja was awarded with a silver medal for securing the second merit position and Arnav Chandra received a bronze medal for securing the third position. Vivaan Lal was declared the all rounder for the Academic Session 2022-23 for Class VI.

A gleaming fervour and the triumphant spirit of the young scholars could be felt and seen. It was indeed a proud moment for the parents to see the young scholars receiving their honours.

The ceremony concluded with the rendering of the vote of thanks by the Vice-Principal, Ms. Monica Sahni. She showered her blessings and emphasised the importance of hardwork and diligence in fostering success and excellence. She also congratulated the awardees as well as their parents for providing the children with adequate support to pursue excellence in academics and extracurricular endeavours.

The National Anthem brought a closure to the incredible event.
