Delhi Public School, Mathura Road had the distinct honour of hosting Hon’ble Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan ji during the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 on October 13, 2025
The event, a nationwide initiative by the Ministry of Education’s Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL) in collaboration with AIM, NITI Aayog, and AICTE, celebrates innovation and creativity among students across India.
The Buildathon is set to engage over 1 crore students across more than 1.5 lakh schools nationwide, making it one of the largest student innovation initiatives in India.
Following the national launch, DPS Mathura Road had the privilege of hosting a live participation centre, where students of DPS Mathura Road, along with several students from core DPS branches, joined the live interactive session.
Students from Grades VI to XII engaged in hands-on design-thinking activities, presenting their innovative ideas and prototypes inspired by the national themes of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, Vocal for Local, and Samriddh Bharat.
The Education Minister’s address was followed by student presentations, innovation showcases, and virtual interactions. The Hon’ble Education Minister interacted directly with student teams, appreciating their creativity, problem-solving, and the insights behind their projects.
